homemade root beer

Zoe shared the recipe for home made root beer. It is something that is made for big family get togethers and everyone loves to watch it brewing and then to drink it.

4 gallons of water (and a 5 gal container to hold it)
5 lbs sugar
1 bottle root beer extract
dry ice (3-5 lbs)
ice

heat 1 gallon of water and add the sugar to dissolve it. Add the sugar water to the rest of the water and add the root beer extract. Carefully add the dry ice to the mixture and lightly cover (the root beer will splash as it is brewing so put something under it or make it outside.) The root beer will be done after about 30 min.
